Release history
October 26, 2009: Version 1.4 released
The Saturn Disk Explorer program is entirely new. It provides functionality to view the contents of disk images as files and folders, look at the metadata stored in the volume descriptors, such as the publisher information, and see the contents of the disk image as a block map.
And finally: an installation program! Saturn is now installed like any other Windows program. (The saturn-bin.zip file is still there for users of other platforms, and for those wishing the simplest possible install.)
July 8, 2009: Version 1.3 released
Automatic shortening of long paths for Joliet disk images.
GUI responsiveness improved; now a progress window is displayed when a disk image is being written.
Bug fixes.
May 9, 2009: Version 1.2 released
Now integrates with the well-known NAnt build system, enabling you to create disk images as part of your regular software builds.
February 7, 2009: Version 1.1 released
Support for reading and writing Joliet disk images, in addition to plain ISO 9660 images.
Major refactoring of the disk image library API.
The source code is now available as a zip file download from SourceForge.
December 6, 2008: Initial release!
The first release of Saturn disk image is made available for download. So far only the only supported format is plain ISO 9660 with 8.3 filenames, but support for Joliet and possibly UDF are planned for future releases.
